A new taphouse is opening in Stephenville very soon.
Brett Mosher, who co-owns Bosque River Taphouse with his father Sean, said the taphouse will open at its temporary location at 1050 South Graham Street in Stephenville on Friday, Dec. 1.
“We are already brewing beer there,” Brett told Beneath the Surface News. “We brew about seven barrels at a time.”
The taphouse will include a downstairs bar and seating area and an overhanging second story patio that will also have seating.
“We are very excited to finally get opened,” Brett said. “The amount of support and hype people have been sending our way is overwhelming. Now that’s it finally here, I can’t wait.”
Brett said the taphouse will offer wine, seasonal cocktails, homemade hard seltzer (the first will be blackberry), and of course, beer.
“The big three that we think are going to be our top sellers are Firewheel (a standard American light lager), Sunfisher (a citrus IPA everyone is raving about) and Top Goat (a traditional bock like Shiner).
And if you get hungry, a food truck will be on site dishing up delicious Mexican cuisine.
Bosque River Taphouse will be open from 2-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 12-8 p.m. on Sunday.
