Jeff Sandford, President and CEO of the Stephenville Economic Development Authority, has earned the Certified Texas Economic Developer designation, a professional certification recognizing advanced knowledge, leadership, and credibility among economic development practitioners in Texas.
The Certified Texas Economic Developer program is offered through a partnership between the Texas Economic Development Council and Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. The CTED program is Texas’ first and only professional certification for economic development and represents the highest distinction of knowledge and credibility for Texas-based economic development professionals.
“This designation represents more than a professional accomplishment,” Board Chair Marion Cole said. “It reflects the work we are doing every day to strengthen Stephenville’s economy, support business growth, and build long-term opportunities for our community.”
Sandford is one of only twelve economic development professionals listed by the Texas Economic Development Council as having completed the requirements and earned the CTED designation, placing him among a select group across the state.
For Stephenville, Sandford’s certification reinforces SEDA’s commitment to professional leadership and continued excellence in economic growth.
